Emirates will begin its third daily flight to Mauritius from December 1, 2025, significantly increasing the capacity of the popular Indian Ocean route. When the Boeing 777-300ER operates in a three-class configuration, additional services increase seat availability by more than 30%. The new coded frequencies of the EK709/710 complement Emirates' two existing daily A380 flights and are being introduced under the airline's long-standing codeshare partnership with Air Mauritius.
Additional flights will enhance global connectivity to Mauritius from major source markets in the Middle East, Europe, America and Asia. By increasing access to the island from over 140 points across the Emirates Network, the move supports both leisure and business trips, as well as the local tourism economy. Emirates has transported more than 8.8 million passengers to Mauritius since 2002, making a significant contribution to the arrival, freight services and employment of the country's visitors through tourism and aviation-related roles.
