The highest ever – Embler finished 2Q25 with a backlog of 29.7 billion
Commercial Aviation reported an eight-year backlog record of US$13.1 billion, with Bill reaching 1.8 times over the last 12 months from the department's book. The E175 celebrated an important milestone. Records increased by 55% from the previous year.
Sao Paulo (SP), Brazil, July 21, 2025 – EMBRAER (NYSE: ERJ/B3: EMBR3), the global leader in the aerospace industry, registered a backlog of US$29.7 billion in the second quarter of 2025 (2Q25).

Embraer delivered 61 aircraft in 2Q25 across all business units. The results reflect a 30% increase compared to last year's second quarter (2Q24), with 47 jets being delivered, with more than the number of aircraft recorded in the first quarter of 2025 (1Q25) recorded (30).

Commercial Airlines reported an eight-year backlog record of USD 13.1 billion in 2Q25. (The division's previous record was US$13.4 billion in 4Q17.) The backlog increased 31% compared to 2Q24 versus 1Q25 and 16%. In addition to its strong sales performance, the business unit celebrated a significant milestone. This is a 1,000 E175 unit that has been on sale since its release in 2005.
During the quarter, Embraer received a solid order from Skywest for a 60 E175 aircraft with the right to purchase 50 additional units. Meanwhile, Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has signed a contract to acquire 45 E195-E2 aircraft. The book to bill ratio in the department has reached 1.8 times over the past 12 months.
In 2Q25, the business unit delivered 19 new aircraft, totally with the number of aircraft delivered in 2Q24. As a result, at 1H25, delivery reached 32% of the midpoint between total 26 aircraft and year-round guidance (77-85 in 2025), reaching 3% points, an average 35% level for the period recorded over the past five years.
Models distributed during the period include Republic Airlines (5), SkyWest (2) and Horizon Air (2), Azola (1) from the E190-E2, and E195-E2 (3), Azola (2), Mexica (1), Royal Jordania (1), bin (1), iCBC (1). Executive Aviation recorded a backlog of US$7.4 billion in 2Q25, up 62% year-on-year, but reduced quarterly (QOQ) by just 2%. Deliveries reached 38 jets during the period, 41% higher than the 27 jets in 2Q24. As a result, at 1H25, delivery was 41%, a total of 61 aircraft and a halfway point between the year-round guidance (145-155 in 2025), 8% higher than the average 32% level for the period recorded over the past five years.

In terms of defense and security, the backlog ended at US$4.3 billion in 2Q25, 3% higher than a year ago and twice as high. The business unit delivered four A-29 SuperTukano aircraft to the Paraguayan Air Force during the period.
Highlights in the division include the Lithuania announcement. The C-390 Millennium was selected to strengthen the country's military preparations. Additionally, Embraer and the Portuguese Air Force plan to include 10 purchase options in current agreements for potential future acquisitions by European countries or NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) members.
The selection of the C-390 millennium by Sweden (4) and Slovakia (3), additional orders from Portugal (1), and Panama's A-29 Super Tucano (4) are not included in the backlog as the contract is not yet effective.

Services and support increased the backlog to US$4.9 billion. This was a 55% increase from the previous year due to several contracts celebrated in 2Q25.
In the commercial aviation subsegment, the business unit has signed a new maintenance agreement with Commuteairir for its new facility at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. The division will work with CAE to deploy a new full flight simulator in Madrid for E2 customers. And finally, the regional partnership was expanded with the addition of Freud (P2F) conversions from two passengers, doubling existing orders into four units. Bridge Air Cargo will become a launch customer for new products. Meanwhile, Virgin Australia, Amelia, Air Montenegro and Hunnu Air have signed new pool program agreements.
In the Connectivity topic, the business unit will provide Gogo Galileo HDX solutions for Phenom 300 aftermarket customers via Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) generated in collaboration with Gogo, and ViaSat will install advanced internet connections on Aeromexico's E190 jet and integrate Airline's Fleet for further customers.
