    Embraer and Airlink Sign Agreements for Joint Inventory Planning

    Global aerospace industry leader Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/B3: EMBR3), and South Africa's premier airline Airlink today, spare parts inventory support covering the Allmbrayer fleet of 68 airlines I signed a contract.

    With this agreement, Airlink will become the first African customer of a customized Embraer Collaborative Inventory Planning (ECIP) management system that optimizes inventory levels and reduces operational costs for ERJ and e-Jets fleets. Since 2001, Airlink has been the operator and customer of Embraer Aircraft, with fleet-operated flights across South and East Africa, as well as fleet-operated flights to St. Helena and the Ascension Islands in the South Atlantic.

    ECIP offers several advantages to its customers. First, most inventory investments are made by Embraer, which significantly reduces investments that are usually made by airlines. Additionally, by modifying the annual pricing for each part, customers can balance costs more accurately at the performance level guaranteed by Embraer Services & Support. This operation is data-driven and is jointly shared weekly order recommendations based on customer usage and inventory level data created using advanced software and Embraer Planning Experience. Finally, all airlines participating in ECIP can expect a global logistics network with Embraer's material management expertise and best-in-class performance.
