South Africa Airlines plans to resume services to Washington, Dulles International Airport next year. Airline CEO John Lamora posted the news on LinkedIn on April 12th. Career previously offered Dulles in 2020.

Lamora posted that she had recently traveled to Lagos, Accra and Dakar as part of her “South Africa Airlines” mission, which restructured and strengthened her position as a major network carrier in Africa.

South Africa Airlines will become the fourth African airline to serve Washington Dulles. Other airlines that offer non-stop connections from DC to Africa include Royal Airmalloc, Egypt and Ethiopian Airlines. United Airlines currently has weekly flights to Africa.
