A Delta spokesperson said the Airbus A320 flight 2575, carrying 126 passengers, was on its way to Glacier Park International Airport from Paul International Airport in Minneapolis and Saints, when crews chose to detour as a precaution. Delta said the crew received signs of potential issues with the aircraft flap.
Delta said the plane had safely landed at Spokane International Airport and remained on the ground for about three hours while maintenance crews inspected and dealt with the issues. After the maintenance was completed, the aircraft continued its journey and, according to Delta, arrived safely at its intended destination.
Delta has not reported any injuries or further complications related to the incident.
