The summer holiday season is mostly here. That means, during warm, sunny weeks, we are chilled on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Taking a dip is a great way to cool off, but when you're not in the UK, the water can be almost too cold here, which is much easier to do.

In fact, there is one place in all Europe that is said to have Warmer Stores. Therefore, if you love to swim and don't like to get frostbite at the same time, this is the holiday destination for you. Antalya, Turkey is very popular with tourists and one of the nearby beaches is very impressive, boasting an 8-mile coastline. Konyaalti Beach should be on your summer bucket list this year, especially if you're a fan of seawater swimming.

Travel experts at Iglu Cruise have revealed Europe's most beautiful beaches in the warmest waters in the summer.

Located in southwestern Türkiye, this spot ranks number one in terms of water temperature, with an average of 27.8°C in the summer. The beach is located west of Antarya and extends over 8 miles. A popular beach in the summer with the area's holiday maker, has been awarded the Blue Flag status. This means that the water quality is high and is perfect for swimming.

Beach fans haven't steered away from raving about it on TripAdvisor. It was awarded the 2025 Travelers Choice Best of Best Awards and has received hundreds of sparkling five-star reviews.

“The water is clean and refreshing, but the beach has lots of pebbles so I recommend water shoes. Still a great place! After a swim, you can enjoy delicious Turkish cuisine in the restaurant along the promenade. Highly recommended!”

Another said: “Antalya's Cognalti is a truly impressive beach. Compared to the world's most famous beaches, Miami Beach in America and the Gold Coast in Australia, Cognalti is not only inferior, but also wins in many ways.”

The ocean is also said to be “transparent,” with “smart” rocks and pebbles that you can discover while paddle or swim. And once you're done relaxing, you'll be traveling just 30 minutes from the heart of Antalya. This can be accessed directly via the tram.

Here you can wander the charming streets of the old town, sample amazing Turkish cuisine and see the “pride and joy” of the city.
