China Southern Airlines temporarily suspends sales of the Boeing 787-8 fleet due to the sour sourness to US and China's tariff policies.
The airline revealed last November it was about to sell all 10 of the 787-8, asking for a request for a proposal.
The sale package also features a pair of GE Aerospace Genx-1B engines for twin jets.
However, the carrier notified the Shanghai Unified Assets and Stock Exchange on April 11 that it had stopped sales separately “in light of the existence of issues affecting property transactions.”
The suspension will run until May 12th.
Southern China had intended to make aircraft available this year and next year.
That notification reviews all 10 787 identities, including the first 787 that were delivered to the carrier in 2013.
