Summer is fast approaching, and the British are about to book a holiday in the sun for a while. For those who want to splash out on high-end trips, a recent study has revealed the cheapest European countries for a gorgeous five-star stay.
Analysts at Kinglike Concierge concluded the country where you can get the most luxurious money with four metrics. These are the cheapest prices for 5-star accommodation, the cheapest business class return flights, average price for spa treatments, and average price for Michelin-star meals.
After examining the data and tallying the total costs, analysts found Spain at the top. The total cost of the metric was announced at £858. This was cheaper than all other European holiday hotspots.
Spain welcomes over 85 million visitors from all over the world each year. According to Booking.com, the cheapest price for a 7-night stay at a 5-star hotel from Saturdays in July, August or September is £376.
Meanwhile, Kayak said the cost of a business-class flight from London is £412. According to MassagePrices.com, the average price for a massage in Spain is £70, but you can get a Michelin star eclipse for £128.
Meanwhile, Malta has come out as the second most expensive country, falling behind, for a five-star stay with Switzerland. The cheapest country for 5-star accommodation is turkey, with one hotel available for £260 a week.
Belgium ranks as the cheapest location for return business class flights, while Turkey was the cheapest for high-end spa treatments. Finally, Malta was the cheapest country of Michelin star eclipses at just £104.
