Celebrating the role of immigrants in Black History Month

The role of immigration in creating African-American demographics is not really appreciated, but given the emerging trends of “reverse migration” designed by the Trump administration, it is important to revisit it.
The first wave of movements of people of color from Africa to the US was involuntary, as long as it was driven by the fluctuations in slavery, but the need for labor that drove this wave was still financially worthless after its release. lasted when assigned. African American labor under capitalism.
For many years, America has been styling as a land of opportunity, engaging in rituals that encourage immigration from Africa and other regions through what is called a diversity visa lottery or “green cards.”
Until President Trump was sworn in, there was an implicit recognition that people of color, including Africans, were welcomed in the United States as part of an agenda to promote diversity and inclusion. But with Trump's arrival, America has made a dramatic and sudden U-turn on this policy, sparking a wave of forced deportation of people of color, including Hispanics. We.
But that the immigration of African people for centuries has created a ever-changing tapestry of people of color that we identify as African Americans. Certainly, there are people who feel that they are more African-American than Johnny Comb's descent, thanks to their birth and history. However, it is difficult to escape from the reality that Africans who migrate to the US and become citizens are African Americans.
Certainly, some of them sought and secured a political office, as Huldah Momanyi Hiltsley is one of the latest and greatest examples. Because that act of political inclusion has its roots in immigration, this makes it even more important to revisit and amplify the link between immigration and the changing faces of black history.
In the past, this February's “Black History” month celebration traces its origins to cotton plantations in the south, with heroines like George Washington Carver, Booker T. Washington and Harriet Tubman. It was limited to demographics that equated with heroes. My favourite Zora Neale Hurston.
But its purity blends into the cultural pot that has brought other Africans and Caribbeans into the mix. This was nowhere more obvious than Kamala Harris' former vice president persona. In my view, she should expand her peak in American politics and celebrate her as a woman of colour worthy of sharing a pedestal with other equally valuable predecessors like Condoleeza Rice.
Certainly, as part of Black History Month, in my view, African Americans will reassess the location of people in the Trump administration, regardless of their shade, and African Americans will reassess the location of people in the Trump administration, regardless of their shade. You should spend time. Political sticks. So far, there are no men or women in the Trump Cabinet of Colors.
With the exception of Elon Musk, who was handed the poisoned Holy Grail, there are no high-ranking African-Americans in the Trump administration's important appointment position. Both Obama and Biden, “black people” have been severely altered by the current administration despite their support for President Trump in the vote.
One of the changes that need to occur is that African Americans agree with the reality that their identity has changed and that it is no longer a protection of the descendants of slaves. It should be argued by and by the descendants of men and women of color who have been forced into the United States by the demands of labor.
Once this sinks, the idea of deporting immigrants from decades or years ago should be mainstreamed as injustice against all people of color, including the African-American diaspora. Power is changing.
The control of wealth-producing instruments is changing. Therefore, African Americans of all shades and persuasiveness should find something that will surprise them and find commonalities that will lie in the high table of politics and capitalism.
