Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel with More Family Collections Unveils New Stable Suites

Interaction, triple, and two-bedroom options for multi-generational families, business travelers and guests looking for a more exclusive experience. The stable suite is welcome to children of all ages. The largest accommodation category in Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel.

Cape Town, South Africa, May 28, 2025 – The historic Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel owned by South Africa's hospitality group More Family Collection has opened a new stable suite. This illustrates the evolution of this landmark in Cape Town's vibrant Kloof Street district, celebrating its rich heritage dating back to the 1850s.

Ten newly converted stable suites are available on King Street. This is one of the last remaining cobblestone streets in the area. As the category of the most spacious accommodation in Cape Cadogan, these suites feature generous living areas with reading, triple and two bedroom options.

Each suite has a separate lounge and bar area, with some offering a private courtyard or a Juliet balcony. The name “Stable Suite” pays homage to the history of the property, built on the land originally granted in 1822.

    Enhance your guest experience

For the first time in the hotel's history, Cape Cadogan welcomes children of all ages within its stable suites. This thoughtful expansion recognizes the importance of creating flexible spaces where families can connect while enjoying Cape Town's vibrant culture.

“This development represents more than just a new room: creating an environment where multiple generations can share meaningful experiences while maintaining their own sense of space.”

The property enhancements also include spaces for two new gatherings. This charming Cadogum Bar serves a quiet botanical conservatory filled with orchids and greenery, as well as curated wines, special cocktails and snacks. Furthermore, the partnership with Ebbard Reed, Africa's oldest and most prestigious gallery, brings a rotating collection of contemporary South African artwork throughout the property.

    A new chapter begins

Located in Cape Town's Kloof Street neighborhood with easy access to Table Mountain views and city's cafe culture, boutique shopping and local attractions, the expanded Cape Cadogan continues to provide an authentic location while evolving to meet the needs of today's travelers.

The new stable suites and guest areas are now open to visitors, encouraging you to experience generous accommodation and a welcoming space that embraces the future and honors the past.
