Since 1997, Safaris' Volcanoes, a pioneer in gorilla and chimpanzee ecotourism in Uganda and Rwandan, proudly celebrates the 25th anniversary of the award-winning Bwindi Lodge.
Overlooking the mysterious forests of Primy Balve Vindi and taking in spectacular views of the forest canopy, Bwindi Lodge is one of Africa's unique lodges. Since its early days as a simple camp in 1999, it has evolved into a major Uganda Gorilla Safari Lodge, with 10 elegant handmade bandasts with personal butler service.
Gorilla Interpreter Center
To celebrate this milestone, the Gorilla Interpretation Centre will be built in the lodge in 2025. There, guests will learn about gorilla conservation and research and work together with gorilla doctors and public health conservation, two major conservation partners in safaris.
Ugandan-born founder Praveen Moman said:
“As the only ecotourism company signing the 2005 UN Kinshasha Declaration, our long-term commitment to gorilla conservation by protecting apes is at the heart of our spirit and vision.”
A minimum of $5,000 will be donated to the Gorilla Interpretation Center and will be recognized as a benefactor.
