Brown-Forman Corporation has announced the appointment of Anton Skobelev as commercial director for Global Travel Retail, which came into effect on February 1, 2025.
In this new role, Skobelev will lead the commercial business at Brown Forman Global Travel Retail (GTR) and report directly to the Managing Director of Matthew Hodges, Eurasia, India, the Middle East and global travel retailers.
Hodges said: He brings a strong combination of keen business insight and people-focused leadership to this role. His deep commercial experience and knowledge positions him well to promote the growth of our GTR.
Skobelev joined Brown Forman in 2021 as Russia's sales director. He became general manager of Lady Drinks in the US and Canada in 2022, based in Louisville, Kentucky. He brings over 20 years of sales and commercial experience from the beer and consumer packaging industry, where he worked for Grolsch, Sabmiller, Abinbev Efes and Mondelez before joining Brown Forman. For his new role, Skobelev moves to Amsterdam. Here, the company's regional headquarters in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific regions.
