Deciding to move to another country when you are young is an important step that can bring many opportunities and challenges. Every year, many British people decide to move to Spain in search of weather and new opportunities.
Georgia is one such person, making that accidental leap six years ago, and is now called the sunny coast of Malaga.
The content creator documents her life abroad on her tiktoc channel @geoinspain. And her 34,000 followers watch with surprise and confusion as to how she made the most of her time abroad.
In her latest video, which has attracted over 112,000 viewers, Georgia revealed that she is rich in Spain.
Georgia said he made more money when he lived in the UK but valued other things more, such as enjoying cheap coffee, interacting after work, and not living only on weekends.
“In Spain, I earn more than I earned in the UK,” she proudly declared. “I'm making more money in terms of mental health. There are moments when I actually sit and have coffee or walk along the beach.”
Georgia also spoke about how life in Malaga has improved her physical health, adding that fresh food and endless sunlight felt healthier than life in the UK.
She added: “I also earn more health, eat local fresh food, have sun on my skin and get fresh air every day.”
As expected, one of the things she cherished most was the wonderful weather in Spain. Don't hesitate to say it changed her life.
“When you wake up, it's not dark. When you quit your job, it's not dark. You get far more health-wise,” she commented.
“I'm happy and my people make more money. I have a lot to do after work and I'm not living on weekends. I'm sure you'll get coffee in the UK for £1.20 Can you do it?”
The Georgia video has attracted a lot of comments, with the majority overwhelmingly agreeing with her about her standard of living in Spain compared to the UK. One of her followers said, “When the sun is shining almost all day, you can't have a really bad day.”
A fellow foreigner also agreed to a video in Georgia and recalled his experience moving to Spain. They said: “I fully agreed, moved to Spain in 2009 and became self-employed since 2015. I bought my current home with plenty of land two years ago. I'll be paid in full next year. .”
Another person shares their thoughts and says, “No one likes to make less money, but it is compensated by the weather, a good atmosphere from people, and the activities you can actually do every day. .”
And the fourth follower said: “At this rate, there are no British people left in London. We can't let them live here. To be honest, I can't blame them because I do the same thing.”
