A school break during bank holidays is the perfect combination for families with many families planning to head to this Easter break to the newly reopened theme park.
But so many people think the same way, they can spend most of their family time stabbing traffic, lines and crowds.
One expert, Oliver Brendon, believes he has revealed the best day for his family to maximize the experience with minimal interference: April 8th.
For those heading to Disneyland in Paris, the week could be a perfect holiday as Paris schools will not close until April 12th.
Oliver looked at historical trends, school break days and general human behavior during the holidays, explaining how April 8 gives checks on all boxes, but said the actual crowd level could still be different.
April 8 may be the best day to visit the park, but this doesn't mean that you'll only reduce your time.
Experts say going out early in school breaks can give you a head start for most families who are still in holiday mode.
By arriving at the park during quiet times, like when family members open during lunch breaks or during the afternoon, you can provide a speedy experience for hours and save a few quips on off-peak tickets.
Oliver also recommended that they go out in the general public on Tuesdays. This is because the theme park has historically had the lowest number of guests on this day.
The CEO of AttractionTickets.com explained: “Based on our research, Tuesdays on the Easter Break are usually one of the quietest days in theme parks, so we recommend Tuesdays.
“This is because weekend visitors have already left and many weekends have returned home. Those planning a mid-week break often choose Wednesday or Thursday.
Looking at certain UK parks, Oliver warned his family that the Thorpe Park opened on March 28th, so there would still be a larger than normal crowd in the first few weeks of April due to the opening rush.
Meanwhile, Legoland Windsor and Alton Tower reopened earlier this month, which may have calmed the excitement of the crowd before Easter break-roars were repeated.
