Along the Dorset stretch on the Jurassic Coast, Weymouth Beach crowned the UK's best beach, being ranked 20th in the European rankings, earning its fourth consecutive year of highest position.

From Punch and Judy shows to Donkey rides and Pedalo employment, there's plenty to do when you visit during the summer. One reviewer commented, “Even on a cloudy day is picturesque.”
Just three spots behind Weymouth Beach at No. 23 is Goalston-on-Sea near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. This two miles of golden sand is perfect for buckets and spades outings.
Gorleston-on-SEA is also perfect for surfing, bodyboarding and kite flying. The nearby promenade offers beautiful views and a selection of cafes and shops.
This year marked the 25th time on TripAdvisor, releasing a special 25th anniversary list based on not only the last few years but also the best data ever.
The only British Beach on the 25th anniversary list was Bournemouth Beach, which ranked 12th.

Meanwhile, the best beach in Europe and in the world was named Elafonissi Beach on Crete.
