Spain's tourism numbers are absolutely booming as the years pass, and it appears to be a lesser-known region as well as a major destination.
Aragon is one of them. The northwest region between Catalonia, Navarra and Valencia has seen a significant increase in visitor numbers.
Last year, Aragon broke tourism records, welcoming more than 4 million visitors, an increase of 180,000 compared to previous records in 2023.
However, Aragon tourists have not stopped there. They plan to increase the number even more.

The British holiday maker, along with tourists from France, Italy, Germany and Portugal, constitutes most of the international triallers visiting the region. With its growing popularity, tourists are embarking on attracting visitors from other European countries and Latin America.
Another goal is to extend the tourist season throughout the year. Tourism Minister Manuel Blasco highlights the importance of annual stability for both businesses and workers in this sector.
Aragon boasts beautiful attractions to visit, including various examples of monasteries, castles and Mudejar architecture designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The area also houses Ordesa Y Monteperdido National Park, a natural paradise of four valleys. This enchanting landscape awaits visitors for the meadows of the home, huge forests, valleys, glaciers and snow.
The Pyren region is also a prominent place to visit the area, home to some of Europe's tallest mountains, with over 180 people reaching over 3,000 meters in height.
Aragon is also known for being extremely safe. This is one of the key factors that draw people into the area. The Tourism Bureau plans to continue promoting Aragon's natural landscapes, monuments and historic sites to attract more international visitors.
