Italy boasts around 450 beautiful islands – However, it has recently attracted attention for its refreshing May weather and brilliant wine. Also known as the Mediterranean Black Pearl, Pantereria is located between Sicily and Tunisia And, according to visitors, UK villas are destinations that should not be overlooked.

The island has a rich history, beautiful scenery and vibrant culture. It is also famous for producing incredible wines, home to many vineyards and boasts unique, traditional vineyard-growing techniques that have been passed down through generations. In fact, the method known as Vite Ad Alberello was the first agricultural practice recognized by UNESCO.

The island experienced lovely weather in May, with average temperatures reaching 26C.

The best way to explore the island is by foot, and according to the Sicily Tourism Commission, visitors must hike through the countryside to explore the “secrets” of Pantereria.

When exploring the area, travelers will come across a variety of gems, including beautiful gardens, archaeological sites, and submerged historic areas that can be explored through diving.

Additionally, the elephant arch on the island's famous landmark, the elephant arch on the east coast is a must-have visit. The rocky layer, similar to an elephant trunk, extends from the island's cliffs to the sea, is one of the main tourist destinations of Pantereria and is the most photographed attraction.

One visitor wrote that he wrote on Tripadvisor. The natural arches were “a must for all Pantereria travelers.”

The island does not have sandy beaches, but its coastline features cliffs, rocky streams and plenty of underwater caves that make it quite unique. There are also plenty of opportunities to relax in one of the many lakes of Pantereria.

Translated into Venus' Mirror, Speciodinere is one of the island's most prominent lakes. Perfect location for anyone looking for a quiet escape. At the fascinating site, visitors can ride a bath or mud bath in a natural pool that reaches temperatures of 50°C.

With a 4.6 star rating on TripAdvisor, one person said:

Another said: “I was delightedly surprised by the scenic value of this place: mud baths, slimy water, lush vegetation, very good tratoria nearby.
