If you're looking for your next holiday destination, look no further. This African country has many great places to choose from. Cape Verde is a West African island nation and archipelago country in the Central Atlantic Ocean. There are 10 different islands called “Heaven on Earth” and “literal paradise.”

The Island of Cape Verde – San Vicente, San Nicolau, Santo Antia, Santa Luzia, Maio, Saru, Boavista, Santiago, Fogo, Brava – all have their own selling points. SAL is the perfect option for a relaxed holiday with the sun burning. If the beach is yours, then the Boa Vista is for you. SantoAntão and Santiago are great options for hiking and exploring. If you want to experience Cape Baden's culture at its height, San Vicente is the perfect destination. Fogo is the best place if your goal is to try out local produce. It also has spectacular and dramatic views.

Many festivals and celebrations are held in Cape Verde each year, including the San Vicente Carnival, which takes place in Schrove on Tuesdays.

The country's warm climate is a major pull factor, making it the perfect time to visit between November and June. It is located about 6 hours from the UK.

Many Cape Verde visitors believe it is a destination “like others.” “I can't say this isn't literally paradise,” Tiktok user @Raretares said in a video he showed viewers around Boa Vista.

YouTuber KNT described the location as “heaven on Earth” in a video exploring the monkey island.

Each island offers stunning beaches for you to rest and relax, but they also allow you to venture out with horseback riding, kite surfing, your path around the island, or just an activity that runs through the coast.

There are also many wildlife in and around Cape Verde, including stinging rays, turtles and snapfish.
