The WetLease Specialize Avia Solutions Group has secured European approval for the heavy maintenance services of the Boeing 737 Max Jets.
The company's FL Technology division is part 145 certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
It said this will allow heavy maintenance to be carried out at the Lithuanian facilities in Vilnius and Kaunas at up to 8S and 9S of the 737.
FL Technique Chief Zilvinas Lapinskas says the approval is a “natural step” in the company's growth.
The Avia Solutions Group has multiple wet lease operators, combining a fleet of over 220 aircraft.
Last year I ordered a 737 Max jet with a maximum of 80, and 40 of them are solid.
“This (EASA approval) will help us stay ahead of the evolution of the fleet as the market is moving towards newer, more sustainable aircraft,” says Juozas Lapeika, deputy director of FL Techniques, Basic Maintenance.
