Etihad Airways has introduced first-class suites as part of the interior enhancement of its long-range Airbus A321LR twin-jets and is set to enter the fleet later this year. The Asia-Pacific Aviation Association (AAPA) warns that passenger and cargo demand could be “potentially” softened in the short term as a result of uncertainty caused by the Trump administration's economic policies. Philippine Airlines (PAL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Qatar Airways after the launch of the latter daily flight to Doha Hub. The Manila-based carrier will begin flights to Doha on June 16th, with Qatar Airways placing the code on the “first phase” flights of cooperation. PAL flights are operated by the Airbus A330-300S.
