Middle Eastern airline Etihad Airways is opening a new transatlantic destination next year, serving the U.S. city of Charlotte. The Abu Dhabi-based airline will operate four times a week from the city of North Carolina from May 4, 2026. Etihad says he will deploy the Boeing 787 on the route. Russian outsized cargo specialist Volga-DNEPR Airlines explains Canadian measures to seize one of the Antonov AN-124s as a “pirate hijack.” As a result of Canadian sanctions against Russian airlines, the aircraft have been parked in Toronto since February 2022, with legal efforts being made to confiscate the jet and move it to Ukrainian authorities.
