Israeli operator ISRAIR Group has revealed that it plans to resume US services using Airbus A330-200 Twinjets, with the aim of restoring transatlantic connections. Israir is attempting to serve the Tel Aviv-New York route on its first flight since early July this year. The airline, which received its ownership change in early 2021, currently operates all of the Airbus A320's narrowbody fleet. Capital A – owner of the Airasia Aviation Group – has secured approval from the Malaysian Stock Exchange for a “normalization plan” to withdraw its financially bound position. With approval announced on March 7, the Malaysia-based company can “complete implementation” of the plan.
