The European Union recently decided to temporarily restrict all airlines accredited by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) from operations within EU airspace. Although Aulickair does not operate directly scheduled European and European services, we understand that this development can raise concerns among partners, clients and those involved in international travel and tourism.
I would like to clarify that this inclusion is not a reflection of Auric Air's individual safety or operating standards, nor is it belonging to a particular Tanzanian operator. Rather, the restrictions were applied at the national level based solely on certified countries.
Auric Air is fully accredited by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), an accredited member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In addition to national accreditation, we are proud to maintain internationally respected safety qualifications, including the Flight Safety Foundation's Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) certification and the IATA Standard Safety Assessment (ISSA) certification.
These certifications are issued and maintained through rigorous and repeated audits conducted by their respective program offices in Carlton (Bar) in Australia and Montreal (ISSA) in Canada. These awareness affirms our continued commitment to operational safety and compliance with global aviation standards.
We do not consider safety and quality as obligations, but we do see them as core values that guide all aspects of our operations. We urge international travel partners to contact us for further information and explore available options to ensure that your trip with us is safe and fully compliant with internationally recognized standards and insurance obligations.
