In its second year, the ATTA® Action Awards received overwhelming response. The award celebrated the impactful initiative along the eight ATTA® pillars, inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Categories include community improvement, environmental conservation, traveler education and ethical companies.
Two new categories have been introduced this year. The ATTA® MediaVoice for Action Award, hosted by Ethiopian Airlines, recognizes influential media experts, from journalists to content creators. Meanwhile, the ATTA® Emerging ChangeMaker Award shines a spotlight on grassroots organizations and early stage projects, making measurable differences on the ground.
“The caliber of the application has reviewed a real challenge, and we are deeply grateful for generously giving a panel of dedicated judges – all champions of sustainable tourism.” – Chris Mears, CEO of ATTA®Events.
