Kyombura Discovery Center
The Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust, The Jane Goodall Institute and Uganda Wildlife Authority officially opened their new Kyambura Discovery Center on March 1, 2025.
The center will show work on the Kyambura Gorge Ecotourism project, which has been carrying out a series of activities since 2009 to protect the Kyambura Gorge Ecosystem. The project is the first in the region and is an example of VSPT's pioneering work.
The Discovery Centre is an attractive place for lodge guests, community members, local school children and tourists visiting the country.
Visitors will learn about the Albertin Lift landscape, community and conservation activities, and the Chiang Bra chimpanzees and ecosystem at the centre's three galleries.
