A proudly owned and managed portfolio by Tanzania, the Wilderness Collection has successfully launched Warangi Ridge, the second luxury lodge in the heart of Serengeti National Park, offering front row seating for the relocation of legendary wildesters.
The ridges of Warangi are beautifully integrated into stunning granite cliffs, perfectly positioned for the most enjoyment of the views of the savannah meadows and Kopje. Located in the park's restricted “rangers only” study area in Tanapa, with no neighbors within a 12km radius, guests can enjoy this very exclusive wilderness away from the crowd.
Central Guest Facilities include an elegant library, a lounge bar, a restaurant, a yoga deck, an open air gym and a spa. All of these are hidden among the acacia trees, with waterfalls and infinity pools claiming the pride of the place.
The comprehensive lodge consists of 15 thoughtfully designed, fully insulated tent suites. Designed by South Africa's highly regarded interior expert Les Harbolt, the tent pays homage to the silhouette of an endangered species of pangolin, four of which have been discovered in the area. Each tent has its own deck with a plunge pool and outdoor shower overlooking the extensive views. Interlinked two bedroom suites are open to families.
A variety of activities are offered, including day and night game drives on open-side vehicles, river walks along the Orangi River, special bird walks, and 2-3 hours guided econature walks. There are also activities and snacks aimed at kids to attract younger guests, ages 5-15.
Just 41km from the Ceronera runway, Warangi Ridge Lodge is ready to become one of Africa's most iconic wildlife destinations and the hottest new property!
The Wilderness Collection will launch two more properties in 2026.
