    Cottar's 1920s camp launches an exceptional gastronomic safari hosted by internationally renowned celebrity chefs. This 5 night Epicurean Safari Adventure in Masai Mara redefines wild luxury with a focus on foraging, authentic local flavours, traditional cooking techniques, immersive cooking experiences and wild meals .

    The Cotter Culinary Safari, held from December 9th to 15th, is an exclusive set departia experience hosted by internationally acclaimed celebrity chef and Kenyan restaurateur Kiran Jeswa. Bushlerder (Fox International), known for his expertise in bush foraging and wilderness, fearless chef (National Geographic), chef vs. Wild (Disney Plus), and chef Kiran are also trained safari guides. Shows such as Chef vs Wild (Disney Plus) bring his distinctive style and passion for local ingredients to this extraordinary adventure.

    He joins Bonifas Muhti, head chef of Coater's safari trained at Beauconstantia Boutique Wine Farm and Maison Restaurant in South Africa, and a respected gold-level guide and foraging specialist in Coater's safari. The home of the Dagnagi is a foraging expert who leads guests and is an edible wonder of African bushes.

    From expert-led wildlife encounters and meaningful conservation efforts to rich cultural exchanges and unforgettable gastronomy experiences, this unique safari brings you the scenery, its people and the incredible Masai Malara We promise a deep and lasting connection with a unique culinary heritage. .

    The highlights are:

    Five unique dining and immersive experiences curated by chef Kiran Jeswa:

    Wild Prey: Spotlight locally forged ingredients such as herbs, roots and bark to create dishes such as whistlethornberry, wild asparagus, and red walk bark riffle. The evening is enriched with insights and storytelling from Il Dorobo's Forager-Hunter. Dining in competition with baboons: A wild dining experience among the trees, celebrating seasonal foraging fruits of mara, and combining insightful stories about baboon intelligence and social behavior. We learn that Masai has observed that baboons identify safe and edible plants and deepen their connections between these incredible animals and their world. Masai Celebration: A rustic dinner with unique lantern lighting to celebrate the Masai people, their culture and traditional flavors. The Ultimate Bush Brunch: Ostrich-centric wild bush feast offers a sensual culinary adventure. 1920s Dinner Under the Starry Sky: Blends a historic African Explorer recipe with a spectacular stargaze and vintage safari flare.

    – Cooking demonstration: Master safari dishes infused with local flavours and outdoor cooking techniques.

    -Masai Culture Experience: Enjoy a unique meal with smoked flavors inspired by Masai beef and its cultural importance. Participates in a visit to the Masai Warrior School, a Masai Beads workshop, and storytelling from Retylet, the Ildrobo foraging hunter.

    – Wildlife Encounters: Explore private reserves of Masai Mara and Cotter safari with a specialized gold level guide.

    – Seedball Planting: Participate in practical reforestation efforts through the throwing of seedballs to restore the ecosystem.
