For Bishop Sylvester, Isaiah's call for renewal is not just “a common vision for not only our economy and institutions, but our hearts, our common humanity and our common home.”

It was established in 1999 after the Asian financial crisis of 1997-1998 and as an informal forum for finance ministers and central bank governors in industrialised and developing countries, the most important for discussion of international economic and financial stability. G20 has membership From the world's major economies, which account for 85% of the world's GDP, 75% of international trade, and two-thirds of the world's population.
