Apple has announced clever features aimed at fighting travel disease. This can be a real nuisance for many people during long trips or when multitasking as a navigator. The Tech Giant update is designed to allow you to use your smartphone without any surprising results. The Tiktok clip highlights this handy tool, “It's a good feature to know if you're an iPhone user and have a long weekend car trip before you! Did you try it? Did it work for you?”

To enable this feature, simply go to iPhone Settings > Accessibility > Motion. There you can find the option “Show Vehicle Motion Queue” that can be set to “On” or “Automatic”.

When enabled, a black dot will appear on the screen to avoid intoxication from movement. MedlinePlus points out that one in three individuals are prone to stopping motion, but virtually anyone can succumb to it under intense conditions.

They describe it as a common disorder that causes discomfort due to certain types of movement, accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, paleness, sweating, nausea, vomiting, hyperventilation, ventilation, headache, restlessness, and drowsiness.

“Motion sickness can be caused by a variety of forms of travel, including car, bus, train, airplane, and boat trips. It can cause discomfort in amusement park rides, skis and even virtual reality,” the report begins.

Whatuk Video explains the innovative features of the iPhone. “These dots move in sync with the vehicle's movement that helps the brain to match what it feels.

“That visual feedback is intended to reduce sensory inconsistencies that cause motion sickness.”

The video acknowledges that this feature is not a complete solution to motion sickness, but suggests that they try to see how effective it is.

Social media users praised the feature and commented one comment, “Game Changer.” Another expressed their gratitude, “Is every day school day, thanks to school day?”

Apple issued a statement on the feature saying, “If you experience discomfort while using your iPhone while riding as a passenger in a car or other on-road vehicle, you can turn on clues about the movement of the vehicle.

“The vehicle's motion cues appear as animation dots on the edge of the screen, representing the vehicle's movements without hindering what you're doing with your iPhone.

“Don't use vehicle movement cues during operation and other situations where safety needs to be taken care of, the vehicle movement cues work best when sitting in the vehicle's forward direction.
