The Maldives are famous for their quiet luxury. A water villa with a plunge pool, candle dinner on the beach and of course a private butler. However, hospitality entrepreneur Ahmed Siyam Mohamed understood that some guests actually want to raise the volume during their holidays. For those travelers, he took a great risk and spent an estimated $400 million to build Siyam World, a comprehensive resort on Noon Atoll. Activities at the property include horse ranches, go-kart tracks, hydrofoil e-bikes and jet cars.
