Air France has announced the return of seasonal direct flights between Cape Town and Paris for the 2025/2026 summer season, making it even easier for travelers to explore the best of both worlds.

From December 15, 2025 to January 12, 2026, Air France will operate daily non-stop flights between Cape Town and Paris in time for the South African summer season and the peak European holiday period. The daily service is run by the cutting-edge Airbus A350 and offers South African travelers a comfortable and stylish journey known for the blue French atmosphere. From gourmet food to champagne in all classes, passengers can expect a take-off to landing travel experience.

This expanded service not only makes it more convenient for European travelers to reach Cape Town's beaches, wine lands and world-class cultures, but also gives South Africans the option to seamlessly connect to Europe, America and beyond through Paris.

Air France's daily seasonal service departs every morning at 8:50am and lands in Paris at 7:20pm. The return flight AF0890 departs Paris every night at 18:30 and arrives in Cape Town at 06:45 the next day.

“We are excited to regain our seasonal Cape Town and Paris flights and upgrade our services to daily flights connecting the two cities this summer. The seasonal increase to daily flights between these two cities reflects Air France's strong and growing relationship with South Africa. “Air France is dedicated to travelling as memorable as its destination. And with French talent, world-class service and glass of champagne onboard, we cover it.”

Along with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Air France-KLM offers up to 18 flights to Cape Town and a total of 32 flights to South Africa per week, offering over 11,000 seats in each direction each week. This expansion highlights the group's strong commitment to South Africa and its important role in connecting travelers around the world to this exceptional destination, offering unparalleled travel options for business and leisure travelers.

Reservations are currently open at www.airfrance.co.za. Travelers are encouraged to reserve seats early for the peak holiday season.
