    AI, chaos and future, Wit Africa will dismantle it all

    Web in Travel (WIT) Africa will return to Cape Town's Innovation City on March 12th and March 13th to bring together the brightest minds of travel and technology under the theme “Next Generation.” This year's event will focus on industry-leading companies and startups, distribution innovation and cutting-edge developments in travel.

    Since 2005, the WIT Conference has driven industry conversations under the leadership of Wit founder Siew Hoon Yeon. The African version reflects the format of global counterparts in Singapore, Seoul, Dubai and the US. Participants include airlines, hotel groups, safari lodges, OTAs and industry disruptors top executives.

    With up to 200 participants, Wit Africa offers an intimate networking environment with opportunities to interact with global speakers and industry leaders.

    Next generation guidance

    One of the highlights of Wit Africa 2025 will take place the day before the main event. This is a next-generation round table with invitations only to be held on March 12th. and academic institutions. This session will feature panel discussions and networking opportunities for future travel leaders.

    The next day (13th March), the main stage event in Wit Africa opens with a one-day panel discussion, chat by the fireplace, keynote speeches and networking. Topics include:

    The Future of Travel Distribution: How Gen AI and New Technology are Reshaping the Industry The role of the Financial Sector in Travel: Insights from Travel Disruptors at Key Banks and Insurance Companies: From Non-Travel Companies Lessons of Learning, Industrial Legacy vs. Next Technology: Emergency Needs for Young Talents in Aviation and Travel Technology Regional Innovation: Rwandan's Approach to Solving Travel Challenges
