The woman has been gobsmacked into Sunbed Wars recently during the holidays – and how quickly people get up to grab the best place.
Ensuring that major lounger spot (ideally close to the pool, close enough to keep the family together) is a common struggle during a resort stay. At popular holiday destinations and family resorts, this is especially true during peak summer months.
One mother, known as Mrs. May, recently took her family on a trip to Egypt with her three children. The family stayed at the 5-star Cerry Beach Resort in Huggad. However, even if you book a luxury resort, it appears that guests will still have to compete with Sunbed Wars.
Her mother, who shares her training, travel tips and parenting tips on her Tiktok page @themrsmayoffical, shared how surprised she was when early people put out towels in the pool. But she didn't want to miss it.
Mrs. May said:
She added: “Looking at my condition, I'm literally coming down and trying to get us a sun lounger,” he added. She took a photo of the pool area. The pool area showed that many of the front row sun beds were photographed.
“I think it's actually too late,” confessed her mother. “I'm actually too late. All the sun loungers in that front row have already been filmed.”
She decided to settle in the back row. “I'm a bit frustrated that this actually happens,” she added, noting that some hotels have moved them and that it's appealing to try and move other people's towels while no one is by the pool.
Mrs. May's video shaking with 3.7 million views. One commented, “It really ruins the holidays. I don't know why the hotel doesn't stay in the lounger. There should be a booking system and more.”
One person offered a clever suggestion, sharing one more, “I think every room will be assigned a lounge bed. I'm paying per person for a hotel room, so all guests are required.” “We went to the hotel where we had the reservation Sysem. When we arrived, where to go, it would be your lounger for your entire stay.”
Others admitted not to be embarrassed about moving other guests' towels. One wrote:
“Moving the towel babe, you first got there,” another said.
I added another one: “On my last holiday, if the bed wasn't in use for an hour, the staff moved the towels…it worked.”
