The African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) has announced that Africa's ministers, commanders, directors of civil aviation and other senior decision-makers will hold a high-level strategic meeting involving today's announcement.
The meeting will be held on the sidelines of the Air Africa Premier Africa Aviation Event, which will be held from September 4th to 5th
The event itself connects the industry through government and professional organizations through manufacturers, suppliers and airlines. More than 70 airlines are represented, and many of the VIP representatives have also participated in symposiums on the Summit Platform or the Insight Theater stage for events.
In a statement issued by the AFCAC, the event said it provides “an unusual platform for top-level leaders to line up with shared policy priorities, technical strategies and joint advocacy efforts that will impact the future of aviation on the continent.”
The AFCAC called on all ministers and supervising generals to actively participate in this important meeting. “It is a strategic moment to amplify Africa's aviation agenda at the global stage beyond coordination,” the committee said.
Rwanda's Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) coordinates events in collaboration with Times Aerospace events.
The RCAA outlined the importance of events to shape the future.
●The session will promote consensus on key aviation themes, including safety monitoring, sustainable aviation development, fair competition, and accelerated implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM).
●The conference also presents opportunities to coordinate leadership roles and collective strategies, enhancing Africa's influence in global aviation decision-making.
“Participation demonstrates a solid commitment to the future of African aviation in general, ensuring that all voice contributes to the formation of the continent's global aviation footprint,” AFCAC said.
