African countries are responding to spreading the Covid-19 virus with policies ranging from screening for arrivals to quarantine and bans. Below are travel policies for Ghana, Kenya, Niger and South Africa.

Kenya
Although there is no official notice regarding the travel ban, the government has issued several recommendations to Kenyans traveling abroad, and posted banners at all entrances to spark travelers on how to protect and manage Covid-19. Standard screenings are conducted at all points of entry.
All travelers must complete a travel history form before being cleared to continue.
Port Health is trained in a test kit and standby.
Suspicious cases have been reported and referred to Kenyatta National Hospital.
Quarantine was located in a government health facility, with one hospital being established as a quarantine facility.
Individuals are also required to have self-guarantee based on their travel history.
There is no official notice for all travelers to Niger travel ban for 14 days. The World Health Organization recommends safeguards are considered precautions.
Each flight is checked regularly. If an abnormality is detected, passengers will be quarantined immediately.
Quarantines will be in the airport by health authorities until testing is carried out. All travelers are confirmed. There is no official notice of the South African travel ban. All inbound passengers are subject to fever screening and are required to complete a medical survey. Exams will be conducted by military nurses at the port of entry if necessary.
