Phoenix, Arizona / Access Newswire / March 3, 2025 / ISTAT Americas Antial Convention, Aircraft Engine Lease Finance, Inc (“Aelf”) in Phoenix today announced that it has acquired the A330-300 in a lease to South Africa Airlines. The 2016 vintage aircraft has serial number 1754.
“This acquisition of the A330-300 presents a unique opportunity to combine recent activities in South Africa with a wealth of experience with the A330,” said Joe Cirillo, Chief Commercial Officer. “South African Airlines is a long-standing flag carrier with a positive trajectory and we are extremely proud to be able to add it to our roster of our valued airline partners.”
AELF recently acquired, leased and funded several 737-800s in South Africa and elsewhere, and owns the A330-200 lease fleet.
