Hamamet, a well -breathed Mediterranean coastline, rapidly emerged as one of the most stunning beach destinations in Africa, and is often compared to famous Italian coastal escape.

The untouched golden sand, turquoise blue sea, historical charm and modern luxury blends are fascinated by travelers who are looking for an empty seaside escape.

Hamamet, often called the “St. Troopes of Tunisia”, boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in North Africa.

The softer and sandy beaches of the town are growing along the hamamet bay, providing the opportunity to take the sun, swim in transparent water, and enjoy various water sports.

Many travelers compare the breathtaking scenery to the coast of Amalfi and Sardinia, with a dazzling blue sea and dramatic coastal beauty.

“Hamamet feels like a dream of the Mediterranean and has a rich cultural history that makes it stand out,” said a TripAdvisor user who recently visited the city. “Beach is absolutely wonderful, and local hospitality is unmatched.”

Hamamet is not the only beach. It is also a city dyed in history and culture.

Historical Medina is a narrow maze where white -painted houses and lively markets are lined up, and you can get a glimpse of the past of Tunisia.

Visitors can explore the 15th -century Kasuba, a fortress that provides panoramic views on the coastline, and walk in a lively swing that sells handmade pottery, carpet and jewelry.

For those who want more gorgeous experiences, the resort area of Yasmin Hamamet has a marina reminiscent of high -end hotels, beachfront resorts, and European elite seaside retreat.

5 -star hotels such as La Badira and Sindbad offer high -end restaurants while watching the spa treatment, infinity pool, and breathtaking sea view.

“Hamamet completely combines tradition and modern comfort,” said another trip advisor. “In the morning, you can search for an ancient archeological site, sunbathing on a white sandy beach, and an evening meal at a stylish seaside restaurant.”

In the summer, the destination of European beaches often overrun by tourists, so Hamamet is positioned as a top alternative.

It provides the beauty along the coast kissed by the same sun as Italy, Spain and France, but is offered at a more affordable price in a part of the crowd.
