“The Most Magical Forest of Britain” looks like “The Lord of the Rings” | UK | Travel

The forest, known as “the most magical in Britain,” is compared to the enchanting New Zealand background from the iconic Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The UK lacks beautiful scenic spots, with vast, gentle hills and flat plains rising and falling over the country. A calm and stunning beach. Needless to say, it is littered with rugged mountainous regions scattered across England and Wales. The sweeping beauty and quiet lakes of Scotland. And more.

Despite its small size, it especially praises its enchanting atmosphere for its “magic” but it has a wealth of woodlands and forests throughout the country.

The video shared on Tiktok highlighted and praised the beautiful puzzle wood rainforest. Based in Dean Forest, Gloucestershire, it features huge twisted trees, mossy valleys, wooden bridges offering an otherworldly atmosphere, and many scenic views.

It served as a filming location for many major films, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Doctor Who, The Huntsman: The Winter War, and Merlin.

The popular site, known as “unique and ancient forest areas” and “unusual temperate rainforests,” is perfect for those eager to explore exciting yet beautiful excursions. It exceeds “200 narrow, uneven steps that are slippery, especially in rainy weather,” making it “sturdy footwear with ample grip essential.”

In April, Puzzlewood is open daily to visitors, with adults being charged at £9.90 and children being charged at £8.50. Concessions are available to disabled people, caregivers and seniors. Puzzlewood has animals on-site, so pets are not permitted.

Another share: “I went on Monday and it was amazing.” Third share: “I was there, it was so beautiful and the photos you can wear there are great, but my shoes were confused after that trip.

Someone else commented, “It's lovely there,” but another said, “As a local of this place, it's a must-see.”

Another fan said: “I literally just returned from there, and it was amazing,” another fan said: “It looks like it's from the beautiful story of a princess of the forest.”

Someone else added: “One of my favourite places!!! It's the best when it's just raining.”
