If you are planning a holiday this year and don't want to be caught, it's wise to know how to scam or use it. Tourists are often targeted at increased taxi costs, increased restaurant prices, and other things in between. Some of these are paid well for us, but one thing to avoid during the holidays is to become a victim of pickpockets. Luckily there are cheap ways to prevent valuables from being stolen.

Aaron Bond, private investigator at Bond Lease, said: “Slips are masters of deception and will steal from you using techniques that distract you.

“As a private detective, I've seen how unning these burglars are and how efficient they are, but one of the simplest and most effective ways to betray them is to have simple household items, and that's rubber bands.”

The elastic band adds texture and resistance to your wallet, making it difficult to easily slip out of your pocket.

    Aaron said:

“The hack is simple, placing a thick rubber band in the center of your wallet. This creates maximum resistance. You need to keep your wallet in front of your pocket at all times. Keeping your wallet in your back pocket makes it much easier for someone to steal.”

This trick is useful, but you should not rely entirely on it. You still need to be vigilant against burglars targeting you.

Aaron said: “Before you leave the hotel, study maps, think carefully about where you are heading, then raise your head to inviting your surroundings.
