1. Prioritizing Self-Care
Before 2020, working long hours and sacrificing personal time was the norm for many. The pandemic has since been forced to slow down and reevaluate it. Suddenly, self-care was not a luxury. That was necessary. People began to exercise at home, meditate, indulge in hobbies, and prioritize spiritual happiness. result? A happier, healthier individual who is more productive and balanced in all aspects of life.
2. Wear a mask
Wearing a mask was undoubtedly one of the most controversial (forced) habits from Covid, but this practice has raised awareness of the rapid and easy spread through normal daily contact. Many individuals continue to wear a mask when they are sick, helping to prevent the spread of bacteria to those around them.
3. Tidy up
As I stared at the same four walls for months, many people realized how much unnecessary they had. Inspired by Marie Condo, people embraced minimalism and donated, sold or recycled items that no longer brought joy. advantage? A messy, less stressful, more peaceful home environment.
4. Show compassion
Covid-19 has made many individuals more aware of the struggles of others. Checking in with older neighbors, preparing meals for those in need, and keeping in mind spreading bacteria has become an act of everyday kindness. Even today, it's not uncommon to see someone wearing a mask to protect others or help someone in need. The community and spirit of compassion live on.
5. Drinking rooibos tea
