Middle Eastern airline Emirates plans to expand its Airbus A350-900 network to seven other destinations, including Africa's first Asia-Pacific region.
It operates twin jets in four Middle Eastern and North African cities: Baghdad, Amman, Dammam and Tunis, as well as Asian destinations in Oslo, Istanbul and Ho Chi Minh City.
All A350 deployments will take place from June 1st to September 1st, starting in Tunis and Amman.
The Dubai-based carrier has plans to increase A350 frequencies to Bahrain and Kuwait as part of the rollout, and introduce types to Bologna by one month.
“The introduction of this aircraft and layering it into existing route schedules will help the Emirates stay compellingly competitive as a discerning airline for travelers,” says Adnan Kazim, Vice President of Emirates.
Emirates operates an A350, which includes 312 seats, including 32 seats, and 312 seats, including 21 seats in the Premium Economic Cabin.
