Located in Europe's Balkan Peninsula, Albania is quickly becoming a popular holiday destination. The country paints visitors thanks to its stunning coastline, and many hiking options along many mountainous regions, for those who prefer to take it easily.
Last year, Minister of Tourism and Environment Milera Kumbalo officially revealed that the Balkans welcomed 11.7m visitors in 2024, showing a 15.2% increase compared to the 2023 figures.
