For many, starting a holiday means drinking a relaxing beer at the airport bar. Travelers love to enjoy a pint or two at the airport, regardless of the time. However, Google saw a 268% increase in searches for “Airport Bar Prices” in the UK last year, suggesting that many Britons are worried about airport prices, especially airport pints.
To help travelers, experts have found an airport in the UK that serves the “cheapest” pints. According to experts at ESIM Travel Company Airalo, Glasgow Airport in Scotland is the cheapest in the UK for airport pints. Experts observed that the average price of a pint costs around £4.75 at the airport.
They stated: “If people are flying from this Scottish International Airport in the coming weeks and months, we are lucky as the average price of pints is 21.6% cheaper than any other UK airport.”
The Scottish airport has several bars and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy a drink before your flight.
Experts have revealed that Birmingham Airport is second on the list, with the average cost of the pint there being around £5.90.
They stated: “After one cheapest pint at Birmingham Airport, JD Weatherspoon at Birmingham Airport offers pints for just £4.80.
Data also showed that Gatwick is London's cheapest airport and a pint before it sprays. The average price of pints at Gatwick Airport is £5.97, making it the most affordable airport pint in London.
However, Gatwick ranks in the top three, but most of the cheapest pints are found at Northern Airports, with over half of the top 10 low-cost pints in the northern UK, up to 34% less.
At the bottom is Belfast International Airport, where pints returned for an average of £6.80.
