Middle Eastern lender Dubai Aerospace Enterprises is expanding its Portofolio with 17 more aircraft, with the acquisition agreed with several parties.
The aircraft is leasing to 11 airlines, the company said.
80% of them are Boeing models, while the other 20% say they are manufactured by Airbus, indicating that almost everything is the maximum narrow-minded amount of the A320neo-family and 737.
Dae says the aircraft has been acquired to account for about $1 billion. All aircraft are new generation models.
The company says the deal will earn a portfolio of 49%, consisting of Boeing aircraft, with a 46% Airbus and a 5% ATR.
“As we are continuing to raise attractive secondary market assets to meet our growth and portfolio management goals amidst the ongoing delays in order book delivery,” said Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE.
“This transaction will further strengthen our relationship with the global base of our airline customers, allowing us to bring three airline customers back to DAE.”
