Greek carrier Agen has further identified himself as a customer of the 8 Airbus A321neo twin jet.
Aegean says it is expanding its original order for Airbus in 2018, with its third top-up deal.
It requires overall commitment to 58 aircraft consisting of 33 A321NEOS, four long-range A321LRS and 21 A320Neos.
34 of these aircraft have already been delivered, says Carrier.
Egen will receive one aircraft this year and will win four more for the rest of 2025.
Chief Executive Dimitris Gerogiannis said additional orders are “essential to achieving growth targets.”
With the 37 Aegean aircraft set to the A321neos, he says the company has a “strong preference” for the variants with larger capacity and extended range.
Egen has not disclosed an engine choice, but the current A320neo Family Jet is equipped with the Pratt & Whitney PW1100GS.
Neither Airbus nor Egen have confirmed the delivery schedule for the additional A321neos.
