A savvy woman found a holiday packing hack using simple items to fit more clothes in her suitcase.
Holiday packaging can be a stressful task as airlines charge baggage allowances require travelers to avoid exceeding the limit. Laura, a UK nurse and online fitness coach, shared the video on Tiktok, showing what she uses to stuff her holiday clothes.
She discovered that the plastic bags from which Shane's clothing comes in are perfect for holiday packaging as one bag fits in many of the folded clothing items. Laura was even able to put 12 bikini in a single scene bag.
In her Tiktok video, she said: Laura then showed what clothes she had put in each bag.
She used one in her pajamas, a corset top, a pair of pants, a bag for bodysuits, a bag for bikini, a bag for crop tops, a bag for coding set, a bag for four pairs of shorts and a denim dress, a bag for dresses, a bag for gym clothes, and one for bikini covers. Laura said: “How wonderful is that?”
Holiday packing experts also said that by organizing clothes into different categories of thin bags, you can take out clothes and easily find the type of clothing you are looking for when it comes to unpacking. Laura added: I don't know why I've never done this because 26 years later this changed my life. ”
In the caption of her Tiktok post, she wrote: I feel like an organized queen! She also stated that the technique is a “game changer” and that “you can fit more because you're connecting clothes together.” Her video has earned 112,900 views, over 1,000 likes and plenty of comments.
One user stated: Love them. ”
Another addition: “I always use scene bags to leave. They are very good for stuffing kids' clothes. I put the full outfits in (a) daily bags, including underwear and socks.”
Third comment: “I did the same thing a few years ago, but they are great and the air holes can easily be flattened over each other.” The fourth user said, “I'm going to give this a try and it's very satisfying and tidy.”
A fifth person shared: “Always save my scene bag for this exact reason!” Skycanner shares some of the best ways to pack suitcases, such as reusing sealed plastic bags, as they say the air pressure inside the cabin “explodes” by inflated toiletries, rolling clothes and then putting them in a cleaning bag, and filling them between the powder pads covered while cracking between pressed powder or pressed powder.
