The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has issued a certificate of Aviation Operator (AOC) to Falcon Aerospace Limited, a business airline that operates as Vivajets, amid the company's rapid global expansion.
This development means more options for air passengers on local routes.
AOC allows airlines or charter operators to use aircraft for commercial purposes. This is an important certification that demonstrates compliance with aviation safety standards.
“We are excited to announce in January 2025 that the NCAA has awarded AOC, a key milestone to become Africa's largest and most efficient business aviation provider,” said Chukuerika Achum, CEO of Vivajets.
“This certification from our home country makes business aviation more accessible and further strengthens our ability to provide the critical business connections that Africa needs through seamless and efficient air transport,” added Achum.
Certification is upon a time for rapid global expansion and innovation for businesses. Vivajets offers a variety of services, including aircraft management, fractional ownership options, and the ability to charter or own private jets.
