If you are planning a city break to a place you've never been to before, it can be difficult to know which area you're going to stay in.

Most tourists prefer to stay within a simple commute to all the highlights of the city and bustling, but you'll probably want to make sure you're in a good neighborhood. One traveler named Will Watts went to Tiktok and shared his unique life hack of how to find the best Neigbourhoods if you're going to a new city. All you need to do is search for one specific store using Google Maps.

“I travel quite a bit for work. Every time I visit a new city, there's a stupid way to find out where the most amazing neighborhood is. It's called Lululemon Strategy,” he explains.

He continued to explain his methods to find a neighborhood with great walking ease and $10 matcha, “Every time I went to a new city, I looked up Lululemons in the area of Google Maps and used the process of elimination to find a neighborhood with great walking ease and $10 matcha.”

Using his upcoming trip to Montreal, Canada as an example, he showed how to use the locations of clothing stores in the city to determine the best place to stay.

“And as you can see here, this Lululemon is in the mall, so I'm going to remove it from my search results,” he shared, showing how he uses the method. “What we're looking for is Lululemon's shop, where you can find a bar, restaurant and a bakery dedicated to Brookie.

But what if there is no Lululemon store where you go? Nick continued to share the second method. This was used if the Lululemon method didn't work.

“It's called the Whole Foods Method,” he told viewers, then crafted another map of all Whole Food supermarkets to show how he uses it. “So I'm going to go to the New Orleanians the week after the Montreal and the boom. I know Magazine Street will be the perfect place to wander around and hang out.”

He continues to share his disclaimer, saying, “Listen now. I'm not saying Lululemon strategy, but Whole Foods' method is the way you should travel, but I think it's the best way to get land before you go anywhere.

Lululemon is a Canadian clothing company and currently has over 700 stores in 26 countries around the world. Approximately 40 of these stores are located in Europe.
