Delta Air Lines will begin its first service to Marrakech, Morocco from October 25th, 2025. The three routes from Atlanta to Menara Airport in Marrakech will operate on the Boeing 767-400ER. It features Delta Premium Cabin products such as Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and main cabin.

To showcase this route is a victory for the airline and a game changer for the traveller. Its souk, architecture and culture make Marrakech more accessible than ever for American tourists and business travelers. Paul Bardoni, Delta's Senior Vice President of Network Planning, highlighted the importance of the expansion, saying, “We will add new services to the Delta Marrakech and flights to Accra, strengthening our presence in Africa and increasing the opportunities for our customers to enjoy award-winning services and premium on-board experiences.”

Delta Air Lines strengthens Accra's existing ties

Marrakech represents Delta's new territory, but the airline is also strengthening its presence in one of its most popular African destinations. Starting December 1, 2025, Delta will introduce seasonal, daily non-stop service from Atlanta to Accra, Ghana. This addition will complement existing daily annual services from New York-JFK.

The Accra Route features the state-of-the-art Airbus A330-900NEO. It offers passengers the luxury of Delta One Suite and enhances comfort in all cabin classes. The move extends to a growing market, cementing Delta's position as the largest US airline serving the Ghanaian capital.

These new routes stated by Matteo Crucio of Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Europe, Middle East, Africa, India.

The Marrakech route allows Delta to boast one-stop connections from over 125 cities, making it easier to access UNESCO-list destinations than ever. This extensive network is expected to drive significant traffic to new routes. Major markets include New York, Washington, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.
