How one couple redefines the perfect wedding – Tourist News Africa

Over the centuries, nobles of ancient civilizations such as Rome, Greece, and China held elaborate weddings to demonstrate their wealth and status. Today, the culture and media influence of celebrities continue to aspire to a gorgeous wedding. The rise of wedding planners, destination weddings and reality TV further promotes this trend, turning these celebrations into epic productions and bringing pressure on many couples to go outside.

However, one couple chose another pass. It was intimate, deeply personal and very meaningful. With only 24 guests in attendance, Rowen and Bianca Solomon have proven that Love is not about the number of guests they are present, and not about the people who really matter in life. Onwaba Gonyora, director of Brahman Hills in the KZN Midlands, chose to celebrate their special day, but described the celebration as “one of the most special weddings I have ever seen.”

This amazing couple's love story began in kindergarten at just four years old. A few years later, they reconnected while volunteering at the church, and their bond was instantaneous. “I just clicked from Get-go,” recalls Bianca. “It was always comfortable when we were together. I feel this is right.” “In fact, it was just a month after the date – at a tender age of 17, Rowen popped the question. Looking back, Bianca laughs, “He didn't give me too many options!”

From there, their journey was built on faith, commitment and shared experiences. Like the time they went to Gold Leaf City, they were able to push Lowen into the Anaconda roller coaster just because of Bianca's thrill-seeking nature. “Let's say he's still shaken up by the experience,” she jokes.

When it was time to plan their wedding, they imagined something timeless and elegant – an intimate celebration that reflects love for God, each other, and their closest family and friends. Their search led them to Brahman Hills, and as soon as they saw the glass chapel they knew they had found the perfect place.

“We got married on January 17th, 2024. This is one of the most stormy days of the year,” recalls Bianca. “Originally, Canapé was intended to be offered in an internationally award-winning garden, but the Brahman Hills team seamlessly moved everything to Skyfall, where the fireplace was warm and cozy for everyone.” Even the rain couldn't moist the spirit, and in the true Brahman Hills style, Onwaba went beyond that.

Just celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Lowen and Bianca look back at their special day as they like. Their microwedding was true evidence of the idea that in reality they could do less. All the details were intentional, ranging from rhinestone accents that symbolize luxury and luxury to praise and worship that set the tone of Christian rituals. As only their loved ones were present, the wedding was not just an event, but a celebration of love, a heartfelt blessing for each other and guests.

For couples planning their big day, Bianca offers this advice. “No matter what challenges arise, don't forget that we can always overcome them together. Choosing the right venue makes all the difference. Brahman Hills has made the wedding of our dreams possible.”

“In Brahman Hills, every celebration is as unique as a heart couple. Despite the rain, seeing this wedding come to life reminded us that love is not defined by perfection or the size of our guest list,” says Onwaba. “It's the meaning behind it that makes a truly unforgettable wedding: a celebration of joy, connection and love shared with the people most important,” she concludes.
